RSign allows users to configure when the sender is to get a reminder that the document is about to expire, and how those reminders should be sent.
This article will focus on two settings: Envelope Expiration Reminder to Sender and Send Reminder until Expiration to Sender.
These settings are available under the COMPANY and PERSONAL tabs. If you do not see the options described in this article and wish to add them, please contact your RPost Customer Success or Sales representative to enable them.
Envelope Expiration Reminder to Sender
This setting, when enabled, triggers reminders to the sender when the sent envelopes are to expire soon.
To enable this setting, follow these steps:
1. Click on SETTINGS.
2. From the left-hand available options, click on the Sending tab and look for the Envelope Expiration Reminder to Sender setting.
The setting has two values: “Y” and “N” – Select the “Y” value. Next, select when the reminders should be triggered: Enter the corresponding number in the numeric field, and select “Days” or “Weeks” from the dropdown.
3. Save your changes.
Send Reminder until Expiration to Sender
To configure reminders to be sent to the sender when envelopes are close to expiring, follow these steps:
1. Click on SETTINGS.
2. From the left-hand available options, click on the Sending tab and look for the Send Reminder until Expiration to Sender setting.
The setting Send Reminder Until Expiration to Sender has two values: “Y” and “N” – Select “Y” to enable it. Next, select how these reminders should be sent to the sender from the dropdown:
- If the One Email per Envelope option is selected, the sender will receive one reminder email per expiring envelope.
- If the One Email for all Expiring Envelopes option is selected, all expiring envelopes will be added to one single email reminder.
3. Save your changes.
Using the Sender Expiration Reminder Setting
When the setting is enabled, based on the applied configuration explained above, the sender will receive an email detailing the envelopes expiring soon.
