iManage supports two clients (a web application and a desktop application) and three different hosting options (iManage Cloud, on-premise, virtual server hosted by a third party).
RSign® “Add File” connector and “Send-to-RSign” application are generally compatible with all combinations of iManage client and server. However, there are a few versions that may need technical adjustments due to variations in the iManage software.

iManage Cloud:
- Fully compatible
iManage Work 10.x Server On-Premise and iManage 9.5 Server On-Premise:
- May require some adjustments for certain versions of iManage Work 9.5.6+, 10.0.x and 10.1.x
- Requires customers to publish the API (to be accessible from the RSign® system) to setup in RSign® system for the connector
- May require customer’s IT to whitelist RSign® IP to access the API
iManage Work 9.4.x and below:
- Requires a new connector to be built using COM APIs
- Available to be developed as a customer project
- It is recommended to use R-App print driver or initiate e-signature process in the RSign® system

- Fully compatible
Users Starting the Envelope Creation Process in iManage Desktop Application
(May require professional services modification of RSign® Send-To app based on the customer’s iManage implementation)
iManage Desktop Application with iManage Work 10.x Server On-Premise, iManage Work 9.5.6+ Server On-Premise, and third-party virtual server:
- May require some adjustments for certain versions of iManage Work 9.5.6+, 10.0.x and 10.1.x
- Requires customer IT to allow their desktop client to access RSign® API and access related to the app integration.
iManage Desktop Application with iManage Work Server 9.5.6 and below
- Requires a new connector to be built using COM APIs
- Available to be developed as a customer project
- It is recommended to use R-App print driver or initiate e-signature process in the RSign® system
iManage Desktop Application versions 9.5.6 and below with iManage Cloud Server
- Requires use of the RSign® system or iManage Web Application
