Disappearing Ink™ is an e-security feature available in RMail Outlook plugin version 11.2 onwards. It lets users send private information to be viewed by the recipient only once and prevents sensitive data from being exposed when replying or forwarding emails. You can access Disappearing Ink™ through the RMail Settings in Outlook, shown below.
Settings
To access the settings go to File > RMail Settings
You can disable the Disappearing Ink™ feature, modify the default number of views and change the default length of time per view. You can also customize the default view link text.
To add an extra layer of protection, you can enable encryption for Disappearing Ink™. When enabled, when the recipient clicks on the viewing link text, they will need to verify their email address to view the text entered as Disappearing ink.
Contact your Sales or Customer Success representatives to find out about more available settings for the Disappearing Ink™ feature.
