Even after you have installed the RMail Plug-In for Outlook Desktop you must still activate your email with the RMail servers. If you are still missing the RMail button after installing the plug-in, or you need to change your email or have forgotten your password, this activation process can should be repeated.
To resolve any password, activation or login issues with your RMail for Outlook Button, please go about the steps in the order below:
Note: Your system must be on-line, (connected to the internet) for any of these steps to work, as they involve communicating with our servers. If your are using Outlook off-line, you must connect it first for this step.
How to activate your email address with the RPost for Outlook Button:
1. Within Outlook: Go to FILE > RMail Options.
2.Click on “RMail Account” in the let column section of the RPost Options window.
a. Verify that the email address is correct.
3. If you have not yet registered your new RPost button:
a.Click “Resend Activation Link”.
-If the "Resend Activation" is is a clickable link. Clicking that link will send you an activation email.
-If the “Resend Activation Link” is grayed out: your button is already registered and you can skip the next step in (b) and move onto the "How to reset your password with the RPost for Outlook Button:" section
b. Go to your inbox and click on the registration activation link. This should open a webpage that confirms the activation.
How to reset your password with the RPost for Outlook Button:
1.Within Outlook: Go to FILE > RMail Options.
2.Click on “RMail Account” in the RPost Options window.
3.Click on the button icon that has the padlock icon. This will send you an email to reset/change your password.
4. Go to your Inbox and find the reset password email.
a. Click on the link within the reset password email to go to the reset password web page, and change your password (please do not use special characters in your password).
5. Go back to the RPost Office Email Options window
a. Click on the “Login” Button.
b. Enter your password and Login.
c. Wait till you see a popup that informs you that you have logged in.
7. Click the “OK” Button to save and close the RPost for Outlook Options
