When a sender sends out an RSign document to be signed by multiple signers, he or she has the option to receive a notification email each time a signer signs the send RSign document. This information also appears in the envelope data for this RSign Document within the Manage tab. The option to receive status update emails when a signer signs a document is set by default but can be switched off by a Customer Admin or standard RSign user, provided the Admin Settings allow this. When a final action is taken on an RSign document, be it the final signer signs it or the document is declined. You, the sender, will always receive an email notifying you of the status of the document and what can be done next.
SEND Tab:
In the SEND tab under the OPTIONS section you, the Sender, may enable/disable the option to send individual signature notifications.
Default View
1. Y: Individual signature notifications are enabled. You will receive an email notification every time a recipient of this RSign document signs it.
2. N: Individual signature notifications are disabled. You will not receive an email notification every time a recipient of this RSign document has signed it until the final signer has completed signing. Once the final recipient has completed signing this RSign document, you will receive the final Document Completed email informing you the document has been completed. The email will also provide instructions on how to download the completed contract.
SETTINGS Tab
In the SETTINGS tab, under GENERAL SETTINGS, you, the Sender, have the option to configure how you want the setting Send Individual Signature Notifications to work and be set in the Send tab.
1. Options: Lists the setting Send Individual Signature Notifications.
2. Display: Controls if Send Individual Signature Notifications will be active, disabled, or viewable in the Send tab.
a. Active: Send Individual Signature Notifications will be visible in the OPTIONS section on the SEND tab.
b. Disable: Send Individual Signature Notifications will not be visible in the OPTIONS section on the SEND tab.
c. View Only: Send Individual Signature Notifications will be visible in the OPTIONS section on the SEND tab but will not be configurable. The setting will be displayed for reference only.
3. Default Value: Lists the default value for Send Individual Signature Notifications. The value will be displayed in the SEND tab when preparing a new document for signature.
a. Y: Individual signature notifications are enabled. You, the Sender, will receive an email notification every time a recipient of this RSign document signs it.
b. N: Individual signature notifications are disabled. You, the Sender, will not receive an email notification every time a recipient of this RSign document has signed it until the final signer has completed signing.
