The RSign supports two date formats, mm/dd/yyyy (US), and dd/mm/yyyy (EU). The date format may be changed in two locations.
In the SEND tab under the OPTIONS section, the sender can change the date format to US or EU, provided this has is enabled in Settings.
In the SETTINGS tab, under GENERAL SETTINGS, you, the Sender, and/or an Admin have the option to configure how you want the setting Date Format to work and be set in the SEND tab.
1. Options: Lists the setting Date Format.
2. Display: Controls if Date Format will be active, disabled or viewable in the Send tab
a. Active: Date Format will be visible in the OPTIONS section on the SEND
b. Disable: Date Format will not be visible in the OPTIONS section on the SEND
c. View Only: Date Format will be visible in the OPTIONS section on the SEND tab but will not be configurable. The setting will be displayed for reference only.
3. Default Value: Lists the default value for Date Format.
a. US: Dates within the RSign document will follow the US date format: MM/DD/YYYY.
b. EU: Dates within the RSign document will follow the EU date format: DD/MM/YYYY.
Sender and Signer Experience
The selected the date format will be applied to the RSign document in the following locations:
Date form field while signing.
Date & Time Stamp form field while signing.
Signature Certificate date on the final signed document.
