Lock Settings provides the ability for an admin to lock an individual setting so that all the users within the company cannot edit it. This option is controlled from the SETTINGS tab.
The SETTINGS tab is available for all RSign® user roles (Customer Admin and User). If you are an end-user, you will be able to change your PERSONAL settings. If you use an Admin enabled account, you can change both COMPANY and PERSONAL settings.
The Lock Settings option is available under the COMPANY tab. If you do not see the options described in this article and wish to add them, please contact your RPost Customer Success or Sales representative.
1. Click on SETTINGS > COMPANY
2. Choose a tab on the left menu, depending on the setting you would like to lock.
3. Check the Lock Settings checkbox for the desired setting.
Tip: Click on the top checkbox as a shortcut to highlight all the checkboxes in the column of that setting tab.
4. Click on Save. The checked settings are now locked and not editable in the PERSONAL tab for all users in your account.
In the PERSONAL tab, the locked settings will show a red lock icon.
Note: Only admins can unlock settings by unchecking the Lock Settings box in the COMPANY tab.
